To meet the needs of customers who handle large amounts of cleaning fluids or coolants, Marwis has introduced its innovative product to the market: High-performance lamella oil separator – Oil Skimmer

It is perfect for applications where significant oil contamination drastically shortens the life of the washing bath. It is practically indispensable for large basket car washes, where the costs of producing and disposing of the bath constitute a significant part of the surface treatment costs.

The second industry branch in which OIL Skimmer will be used is high-performance machining. Where every minute of machine downtime is important, extending the period between coolant changes translates into measurable financial benefits.

The purpose of an oil separator is to separate the oil contained in the washing fluid or coolant. The process begins in the tank, where fatty impurities float on the surface of the bath. Especially

the designed oil separator intake collects only the top layer of liquid. The pump pumps the collected liquid through filters that catch solid impurities, such as shavings.

The filtered liquid goes to the main chamber of the oil separator, where - depending on the application - using the principle of coalescence, the oil is separated from the washing liquid or coolant.

The separated oil goes to a specially prepared container and the fluid is returned to circulation. The efficiency of the process is very high - the oil separator can capture over 99% of the oil.

To maximize the range of applications, the OIL SKIMMER oil separator is equipped with two types of haul - one floating on the bath surface and the other attached with a magnet to the tank of the operated machine.

Long connection hoses ensure comfort of work - there is no need to place the oil separator directly next to the machine - it can be placed in a convenient place.

The intuitive control panel makes operation easy. The convenient switch can be turned even when wearing gloves. A built-in pressure reducer with a clear pressure gauge ensures control of the pneumatic pump in a wide performance range. A safety switch compliant with standards will stop the process in the event of a failure or other dangerous situation, e.g. fluid leakage.
